BARIKIT cylinder kit, Piaggio Scooter Big Bore 78cc AC cast cylinder
BARIKIT 78cc cast iron cylinder kit for air-cooled Piaggio engines – powerful, reliable, big bore
This BARIKIT big-bore cylinder kit with a 50 mm bore and 78 cc displacement was developed for Piaggio Zip engines and is the ideal choice for anyone who wants significantly more torque and peak power without sacrificing everyday usability. The robust cast iron construction ensures high mileage, while the large displacement delivers noticeably more pulling power across all rev ranges.
Why the BARIKIT cast iron 78cc is convincing:
The cylinder delivers powerful acceleration even from low revs and pulls cleanly up to high revs.
The 6-port transfer port layout with 3-split exhaust is based on the design of the aluminum high-performance cylinder, but has been specifically optimized for the thermal stability of gray cast iron – perfect for performance-oriented Piaggio engines, whether in city traffic or on the country road.
The kit includes a precision-machined two-ring piston and a custom-fit aluminum cylinder head. Installation and maintenance are straightforward, and spare parts are readily available.
